About
School of Management
The School of Management (SOM) expects its students to possess five core competencies: practical skills in application, innovative and diverse thinking, character leadership, service learning experience, and digital literacy. Intending to cultivate well-rounded business management talents, the SOM’s curriculum focuses on enhancing students’ moral qualities, interdisciplinary professionalism, and practical business management and decision-making capabilities.
By integrating resources in business/information management, the SOM has established several programs to fit its educational vision. We offer internship opportunities and create a healthy research environment to strengthen our students’ competitiveness in the job market. We also aim for students to become business elites after graduation. The SOM comprises the Department of Business Administration (DBA), the Department of Information Management (DIM), and the Institute of Information and Decision Sciences (IIDS).
- DBA’s curriculum (including a master’s program) focuses on Marketing and Distribution, Finance & Accounting, Organization & Human Resources, Operations & Innovation, and Information Application. Courses engaging Digital Marketing, Innovation & Entrepreneurship, and Corporate Sustainability are also offered.
- DIM’s curriculum (including a master’s program) integrates information/management technology and relevant applications to cultivate talents who can adapt to environmental changes and meet the needs of the business sector.
- IIDS’s curriculum emphasizes “AI technology” and “data analysis” as its educational highlights. The courses offered mainly focus on innovation and business instruction. Its curriculum integrates theory and practice to cultivate talents with digital literacy, technology innovation, and business decision-making.
